Requirements
The system can work on 32 or 64 bit compatible Personal Computers (PCs) that have the following minimum requirements:
  • Intel Pentium III or higher or AMD K6 / Duron / Athlon or higher processor
  • 2 GB of RAM minimum (8 GB is recommended)
  • BIOS or (U) EFI with support for booting from USB

For the installation of the system is also required:

  • a hard drive with at least 20 GB of free space
Preparation
The stand can be used in several ways:
  • The ISO image file traditionally was created to be burned on a DVD support through a special software by carrying out the writing operation as an "image file"
  • The ISO image file can also be used for booting on a virtualization system (e.g. VirtualBox, VMWare)
  • The ISO image file can be installed and prepared for USB stick booting and persistent use of data using the "Install openmamba on USB device" tool available within an openmamba desktop.
